Two teachers with a passion for traveling the world on a budget.

We believe seeing the world shouldn’t be hard or out of reach for anyone.  That’s why we scour the internet to find amazing deals that make it affordable for everyone to get a chance to see amazing places they may have not otherwise been able to afford. We also believe that travel opens your mind and makes you a much more well rounded person. As former educators we know seeing the world provides an education that’s absolutely impossible get in school. Travel teaches you economy, politics, history, geography, and sociology in an intense, hands-on way no class will.  Fortunately, the school of travel is always taking applications, no entrance exam required.

Sometimes it’s only far from home that you realize you you’ve got skills you’ve never used. It’s travel that brings them to the surface and makes you smile, satisfied to have reached the mountain top, or  crossed a gorge  or helped a villager clean up after a storm, or even to have successfully ordered a meal at a rural Chinese restaurant. We also believe meeting people from other cultures will teach you that the way you’ve been looking at the world isn’t the way everybody else does. In fact, your point-of-view might have some major blind spots. Seeing the world for yourself will improve your vision and your grip on reality.

Nomad Fix is the place for travel junkies to plan their next adventure without breaking the bank.

That’s up to you! We are going to keep scouring the internet for amazing deals to national and international destinations and all you have to do is book!

“Once you travelled, the voyage never ends, but is played out over and over again in the quietest chambers. The mind can never break off from the journey.”
Pat Conroy
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
Mark Twain
